- Africa-related GIF Images Images related to African Studies. Resides at the University of Pennsylvania.
- Algorithmic Image Gallery The gallery has many rooms (9 currently, but growing), each one corresponding to an algorithm. Each room is represented by a image on the "door". You visit the gallery by clicking on the door images.
- Art Crimes is a gallery of grafitti art from various cities. It's called "Art Crimes" because in most places, painting grafitti is illegal. Many of these pieces no longer exist in the real world.
- The Bridgeman Art Library gives you access to the visual culture of every civilization from Mesopotamia to Mesoamerica and every period from prehistoric times to the present. The content from our museums, galleries, historic houses, private collections, photographers and artists extends far beyond European and Western art to Asia and the Middle east, the African and Australasian continents, the Americas and even the Arctic.
- CHRISTUS REX CHRISTUS REX is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination of information on works of art preserved in churches, cathedrals and monasteries all over the world. They intend to assemble a collection of images that will constitute a visual representation of the Bible, ad maiorem gloriam Dei! (for the greater glory of God!) The Vatican collection comprises over 1200 images, and they have started building the data base for a world wide tour of churches and monasteries, comprising in excess of 5,000 images.
- The The Digital Media Lab is a collaborative effort between ITC & the University of Virginia Library which offers equipment and support for the digitization and editing of images, sound and video. It has a variety of image collections available.
- French cave paintings, is a link, on the French Ministry of Culture's homepage, which leads to information regarding the Cave of Chauvert-Pont-D'arc. Visit the cave for some images of cave paintings.
- Renaissance and Baroque Architecture - Images - The images included in this collection were scanned from slides taken by Professor C. W. Westfall and used in his survey course, Renaissance and Baroque Architecture (ARH 102), University of Virginia, School of Architecture, Department of Architectural History.
