Subject: EPA Compliance Workshop for Colleges & Universities - 9/13 & 14
Please mark your calendar and plan to attend the September 13 and 14
College and University Environmental Compliance Workshop, sponsored by
U.S. EPA Region IV and the North Carolina Department of Environment and
Natural Resources.

 

The Workshop's tentative agenda is posted at
http://ehs.unc.edu/ecw.shtml. September 13 topics will include an
in-depth review of compliance issues faced by many colleges and
universities. The morning of the 14th will be devoted to environmental
management systems, energy savings and stewardship, among other topics.
The Workshop will end at noon on September 14.

 

The Workshop is being hosted by the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill, and will be held at the William and Ida Friday Center, just
15 miles from the Raleigh-Durham International airport. Parking is free
at the Friday Center. Registration is just $25 per person and includes a
continental breakfast both days, and lunch on September 13.
