EPA plans to extend/reopen the comment period for the proposal on
Standards Applicable to Generators of Hazardous Waste; Subpart K;
Standards Applicable to Academic Laboratories. The proposed rule was
originally published in the Federal Register on May 23, 2006 and the
comment period is scheduled to close on Monday August 21, 2006. The
Agency will be accepting comments for an additional 30 days starting
upon the publication of the extension/reopening in the Federal Register.
