here are some recent publications: 

1. Venomous Earth - Andrew Meharg 
It's supposed to be about arsenic in groundwater in Bangladesh, but it's 
more about the history of arsenic

2. Obsessive Genius: Marie Curie - Barbara Goldsmith

3.The Invention of Air - Steven Berlin Johnson
I have not read this book, but it's about Joseph Priestley and his era. 
Does anyone have an opinion on it?
