My lab is with Debbie on the single ear policy. I'm an industrial lab, so music is a method of reducing stress in the workplace. If there is something going on that's more hazardous then normal, we'll also tell people to pull them out for the day. Unfortunately with the newer employees (read younger), music 24/7 is a way of life for them. I can't imagine what it's like with undergrads. -Mike > We don't have a policy - yet.
