The link
www.acs.org/safety
should open the Committee on Chemical Safety home page.
If it doesn't work please let me know at
safety**At_Symbol_Here**acs.org
The committee publicizes its home page widely, and I need to make surethat the link works for everybody.
Thank you for your help.

The American Chemical Society's Committee on Chemical Safety has producedan excellent publication Creating Safety Cultures in the Academic Institutions. The final, approved version is available to download in PDF formatat www.acs.org/safety. The full production version will be available in a few months.
The document provides guidance, suggestions, examples, and recommendations that will help strengthen thesafety culture in two- and four-year undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoralprograms.
It identifies: - The best elements and best practicesof a good safety culture.
- Specific recommendations that couldbe used by universities and colleges.
- Tools and resources that will helpstrengthen the safety culture.
Bob Hill and his Team did a superb job in creating this timely, cogentreport. It is well worth reading and sharing with your physical sciencedepartments and your administration.
