Nope - no receiving room and no real good way to keep track except with year-end student workers doing exhaustive & time-consuming inventory.

Do you have a central chemical receiving/stockroom?  If not, how do you keep track of what goes into the inventory and what is emptied/discarded?

We are using a self-built Excel spreadsheet that is terrible.  As a smallish private college with 1500 students, we have only around 1800 chemical entries, and one main storage location along with four minor locations.

Two questions:

How much does this commercial system cost?

Does anyone have a link to the company's website?

I'm very interested in learning more.

Ann-Marie,

We've been using the software for about six years and are very happy with it.  The reports are very flexible and easy to create.

The software support is fantastic!

Dear Members,

We are reviewing the ChemSW  CISPro Inventory system for our University.

We would like some input (pro & cons) from anyone using this system.

Thanks for your help,
