For some reason, the ACS has managed to visit Philadelphia in each of the last three Presidential election years, and each time we (CHAS & SCHB) have hosted a Chemistry you can Taste wine-tasting reception featuring local & regional wines. To take your mind off the political turmoil, we are reprising this event on Monday, August 22 from 5-7:30PM. Thanks to the hosting Divisions and several corporate sponsors, we will have over 100 different wines available to taste, as well as an assortment of delightful appetizers & accompaniments. This email is to encourage you to attend if you will be coming to Philadelphia for the ACS meeting.

The reception will once again be in the Marian Mitchell Garden of the Atwater Kent (Philadelphia History) Museum, located at 15 S 7th Street, an easy walk or subway ride from the convention center area. If you or your company are interested in being a sponsor for the event, please contact me (Russ Phifer) or Neal. As little as $100 gets your name on the sponsors list.

Those who have attended before have always had a great time, and I assure you this will be the social highlight of the meeting once again!
