That's OK.  If we didn't kill some trees, the baby trees wouldn't have anywhere to grow.  : )

I probably should send you ACTS FACTS.  We cover some weird stuff, but we are in our 31st year of publication and some of it is likely to be useful.  Provide a snail mail address.  We still kill trees.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Safety newsletter suggestions

As the incoming chair of the DCHAS membership committee, I and others are working with ACS staff to develop an ACS wide safety newsletter. The general idea is to have a bi-monthly opt-in newsletter geared to the interests of ACS membership on safety issues. To help us further develop the concept, we are interested in:

1) examples of safety-oriented newsletters that you find useful for this audience, particularly those you produce yourselves or other non-commercial sources; or

2) suggestions for safety topics that you would like to highlight for the ACS membership as a whole (as opposed to the DCHAS membership who read and make use of DCHAS-L style information, which is not curated with the chemistry audience in mind).

We will focus on highlighting ACS resources in the newsletter, but are interested in other sources of helpful safety information for the practicing chemist as well.

Thanks for any suggestions in this regard.
