Hello all!

This email is to let you know about 2 things.

First, the paper "Starting and Sustaining a Laboratory Safety Team (LST)" has been published in ACS Chemical Health & Safety and was selected as ACS Editors' Choice. This selection means that the paper is Open Access so it may reach a broader audience. Here is the link to the paper for yourselves and anyone you would like to share it with: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/acs.chas.0c00016

Second, on Monday, May 11, we will be launching a listserv through DCHAS designed for anyone interested in LSTs. Mayukh Bhadra, currently of Johns Hopkins University/Chemistry Student Safety Committee (CSSC), will be serving as our first content moderator with our own Ralph Stuart supporting him as the technical moderator. If you would like your email address added to this new listserv, please email membership**At_Symbol_Here**dchas.org and request to be added to the DCHAS-LST listserv.

We welcome all DCHAS-LST listserv members to contribute anything that would be useful to academic researchers looking to strengthen safety culture within their departments! Also, if you know anyone else who would like to be added to this listserv, please share these instructions with them!

We are looking forward to what everyone has to share! Thank you so much! We hope this email finds you safe and (reasonably) sane. Here's to a safe return to our labs-one sweet day!

Best,
