All:

See below.

I worked on the Team putting this survey together, though I never saw the final product.  It would be a real benefit if EVERY company with a CHAS member returned a completed survey.

Please pass it on to the appropriate person(s) in your organization and then shepherd it through to completion and return.

Thank you and let me know if you have any questions.

Neal

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Safety Preparedness for Industrial Careers Survey

Dear All:

I would greatly appreciate your help either with contributing to our research project or sharing the message below with your industrial colleagues. Thank you very much!

The American Chemical Society (ACS) is requesting help from members who are experienced in managing newly hired Ph.D. chemists, or who create safety training materials for them.

From February 16 thru March 15, 2022, we will ask members to complete a survey on what their companies expect newly hired Ph.D. chemists to know about chemical safety before they start their jobs.

We plan to use this insight to inform discussions at the upcoming ACS Safety Summit. The survey will only take 10-15 minutes of your time and will help shape the future of ACS safety programs.

Participants who qualify and complete the survey will be entered to win one of ten $50 Visa gift cards.  All survey responses will be reported in the aggregate and will not be attributed to any individual or their respective company. Please email research**At_Symbol_Here**acs.org if you would like to participate in this survey. We value your time and insights!
