Purpose:

The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) seeks experienced operations support professionals for multiple Research Operations Support positions to meet expanding needs for operational excellence to accomplish the ORNL cutting-edge scientific research mission.  These positions will work as part of an integrated team that has responsibility for ESH&Q oversight activities and facility management tasks associated with work control and facility operations in support of science and engineering activities. Additionally, these positions will provide operational and project management support to directorate staff to maintain compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws, DOE Orders, and ORNL policies and procedures regarding safety, environmental protection, space utilization, and procurement support. These positions are in the Environment, Safety, Health and Quality Directorate and will be matrixed to support one of the eight R&D directorates.
