Subject: EHS Help Wanted -- Special Opportunity

AssistanceWinston Salem State University is a small historically black
university in North Carolina (see http://www.wssu.edu/) that is in
desperate need of temporary EHS help for 1-3 months. If you know of
someone who is looking for temporary work, or an EHS consultant who does
pro bono work, or a recent graduate who is capable and self-motivated,
please pass this announcement on to them. I can guarantee you that this
experience will be very rewarding and enriching. It would look great on
a resume. UNC EHS will be available to offer technical advice and some
other support to this person during this period. As explained below,
this could lead to permanent employment. If you are interested, please
contact Mr. Bell at the phone number below.

Pete, It was good to talk to you today. Here is what I need. WSSU has
only 1 health and safety position, the person quit and gave only 2 weeks
notice, today was his last day. I need someone who can help keep things
in harmony until we hire a replacement. This person did everything,
fire extinguishers, fire alarms, blood borne pathogens, hazardous waste
disposal, mold investigations, accident and injury investigations. We
have a small campus, 29 buildings and about 400 employees. Do you know
the names of any people who might be available for temporary work? They
could apply for the permanent position too. If we could find our own
temporary employee, then we would hire them for 5 days a week. I would
really appreciate any help you can provide us in this situation. Thank
you. Chief Bell
