Subject: Centrally located glass-walled fume hoods
Does anyone have the
glass-walled fume hoods (such as the TruView hoods made by
Kewaunee) in their teaching labs? I'm specifically interested
in the back-to-back configuration of these in the center of the room (as
opposed to the around the perimeter of the room layout). We're in
the process of planning a new chemistry building, and
are considering the kind that have an actual glass barrier between
the hoods so that the hoods are not dependent on one another. Does
anyone have these in their labs, and if so, what sorts of problems have
you had with them?
Thank you,
Kristi Evenson-Ohr
