Hi Ellen (and everyone else)

We at Airgas believe our merger with Air Liquide will be a big win for our customers as well as employees and stockholders.

When the merger is concluded, we will be the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of bulk and packaged gases. We also are already one of the top suppliers of Personal Protective Equipment. Currently Airgas has roughly 17,000 individuals in the US who sell, fill, and deliver gas, PPE, and welding equipment. We will be joined by another 5000 individuals in bulk gas manufacturing and distribution. This will streamline our supply chain significantly and cut our overall cost. We will also be retaining SAP as our enterprise business software, so there will be no changes in how your orders are placed and fulfilled.

Airgas is committed to building longterm relationships with our customers through exceptional service, personal relationships, and a knowledge of the industry that no other company can surpass. We are there to help solve problems, provide solutions, and make things happen. Airgas also has the largest Emergency Response team in the compressed gas industry, and our assistance with compressed gas emergencies is free to our customers.

Quality will not change either, as our in-house quality specifications meet (and usually exceed) the requirements of regulatory agencies like the FDA. Our Standard Operating Procedures are routinely updated to stay on top of best practices.  Airgas' proprietary Accugrav (tm) automated specialty gas system fills custom mix orders gravimetrically with ppm levels of components to meet your specifications. Our bulk gas business is the area where we most expect to grow stronger with the support of Air Liquide's vast network of Air separation plants and existing distribution system.

So if you do have contracts with Airgas, expect the same caring, personalized service you only get from us. If you don't have a contract with us yet, now is the time to start looking to the biggest and best in the industry to do more than your current supplier can.

Thanks,

Todd Perkins
