Forgot to include the requirement Class 1 Division 2 on that.

I think I found these in the interim: https://www.critical-environment.com/products/gas-detectors/cxt2 or maybe https://www.pureairemonitoring.com/product/ethanol-ethane-lel-combustible-monitor-hand-sanitizer

So now the question is really one of - if you have one of these do they work OK?

Thanks,

Rob

I have a colleague who does building alarm/detection/security systems and they are outfitting a new distillery warehouse.

Their customer's older warehouse has a VESDA system that uses an ethanol sensor made by Xtralis, but Xtralis has apparently discontinued that sensor.

Does anyone know of any source for an ethanol-specific sensor for continuous air monitoring?

Thanks,

Rob Toreki
