Occupational Health and Safety. We can address chemical hygiene plans, safety data sheets, lockout/tagout, fall protection, radiation safety and most other OSHA concerns.

Examples
- Carbon dioxide pressure explosions - We have consulted on two separate cases involving youths who were injured when sealed containers of solid carbon dioxide (Dry Ice) ruptured. These cases required expertise in chemistry, pedagogy, cryogenics, SDS's, OSHA regulations, and safety.
- SDS applicability - As we run the most popular and comprehensive web site for SDS information, one of our clients requested our expert opinion on the appropriateness of using a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) to diagnose and/or treat a suspected case of pesticide poisoning. Our analysis included a discussion of the opinions of several different government agencies and manufacturers.
- SDS comparison - Another client needed a professional opinion on whether two MSDS's were "substantially similar" and whether each effectively communicated the risks of the chemical involved. At issue was potential liability that ran up the distribution chain from end user to initial manufacturer. Our detailed analysis gave a section by section comparison as well as expert commentary on the appropriateness of the warnings and content.
- Hazard Communication - One of our clients was exposed to hazardous materials at work because her employer failed to provide both training and personal protection. We assisted her workman's compensation claim by providing expert opinion on employer responsibilities under 29 CFR 1910.1200 as well as the foreseeable consequences of the employer's apparent failure to obey several important OSHA regulations.
