Subject: sharps
I am hoping someone can guide me to a reference with regard to disposal of chemically contaminated sharps versus biohazard sharps. I see other college's policies online, but can't seem to find a regulation that really spells it out. Also, is anyone aware of a significant price difference in the disposal of a sharps container full of needles used for measuring chemicals only versus those that are biologically contaminated? Thanks in advance for any input.
