The following message was sent to a couple of listservs for comment. I will compile and summarize comments for discussion. (Please excuse cross postings.) (Forward comments to ehs_signs**At_Symbol_Here**unc.edu) The University of North Carolina is starting a program to post signs at the entrances to all research laboratories, teaching laboratories, and shops in order to provide a basic level of information for visitors to these facilities, whether they are office staff, housekeeping, or emergency responders.
