The DCHAS Executive Committee believes that the ACS Regional
Conferences have strong potential for health and safety programming
and we encourage people to participate in these by submitting H&S
related papers.

34th Northeast Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society
NERM 2006
October 5-7, 2006
Registration Now Open -- Deadline for Abstracts: August 21, 2006
ACS Members,
We invite you to present a paper or poster at the upcoming 34th
Northeast Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society, to be
held October 5-7 in Binghamton, New York. The deadline for
submitting abstracts is August 21 and is fast approaching.
Please visit www.nerm2006.org for meeting details and to submit your
electronic abstract. In addition to traditional Inorganic, Organic,
Physical, and Analytical Chemistry programs, an exciting array of
interdisciplinary research from academic and industrial laboratories,
cosponsored by ACS, MRS and IEEE/CPMT, will be highlighted:
Nanotechnology
Polymer Materials & Green Chemistry
Molecular Solids
Flexible Electronics
Life Sciences and Biotechnology
Environmental
Chemical Education and Information Sciences
We are also very excited to offer a special day of undergraduate
student programming on Friday, October 6 cosponsored by the Division
of Chemical Education and the Younger Chemists Committee.
The meeting will be hosted in downtown Binghamton by the Binghamton
Local Section of the ACS and Binghamton University (SUNY) at the
Binghamton Regency and Holiday Inn hotels. Registration forms and
lodging information for the meeting are available on the web at
www.nerm2006.org.
