As if I didn't already have enough to do .......

Do any of you at academic institutions have a safety recognition program in
 place?  Could you give me a brief description of how the program works and
 if you think it's worthwhile?  I am most interested in academic institions
 but if you have a program in industry that you're particularly proud of, s
end it along.
