Subject: Re: Evaporating HW
Dilution
to a POTW by POTW permit and evaporation as a means of RCRA treatment
are two very different things.
Please be
aware and cautious that prior to any type of hazardous waste treatment
or disposal management on-site (without prior approval or a permit),
that you should contact your State and/or Regional EPA for
guidance.
Also,
please note that POTWs, States and EPA do not consider a "self-review of
a rule" to be an approval of any type.A violation of Federal,
State or local statutes or regulations is a government determination,
not a regulated entity determination.
