Subject: Ringer's Solution

Hi All,

In the Jan 2000 issue of Chemical Safety and Health, a Dr. Bernard Blais recommended RingerR 17;s solution as a first aid for HF splashes in the eyes.

We use HF, and would like to keep Ringer’s on han d, but it is a prescription IV solution, and we are having trouble getting it.

  1. Are others using it?
  2. Any suggestions on how t o obtain it?

Thank you

Mark Williams
