We typically do not
install drains at showers due to the traps going dry and allowing sewer
gas into the buildings but I insist on drains to the eyewashes whenever
possible. If drains are not installed at the eyewashes they do not get
flushed as frequently as necessary and it makes annual testing
problematic also.
