I recall an excellent presentation, years ago, from folks at from a large government lab who discovered this problem for many of their labs and came up with a good approach. This was part of a DivCHAS program at an ACS national meeting. Perhaps someone
can remember the specifics, or if it was written up in JCHAS. -- Pete Reinhardt, Yale EHS
Does anyone have experience with the removal of perchloric acid hoods from a lab? Any information on the subject and references to resources capable of performing this task would be greatly appreciated. I do realize there is a special
procedure and tremendous cost associated with this, but I wanted to get a better idea of specifically what is involved.
