Demystify:

I use Quartzy to manage my chemical orders and inventory. I love it. It is customizable so I attach SDS sheets and SOP's to the inventory entry so my students have everything in one place. Our EH&S folks have access and download my inventory to load it into theirs. I could not speak as to whether thay are happy with that or not so I think that could use improvement but I am very happy with the way Quartzy's ordering and inventory modules work together.

Hi,

If your institution is using ONLY Quartzy to inventory chemicals in labs within a department, and also for separate departments, would you please let me know so I can contact you with some follow-up questions? I watched their video and it seems like it would be great for tracking bio samples (I imagine the life sciences companies who are paying for this realized the cachet it would give this free program) but it was a very brief video and I'm not sure whether it would be good as a one-and-only system.

We probably have on the order of 10-15,000 containers....

Many thanks,
Margaret
