Demystify:

I guess we are still just talking amongst ourselves.

While doing a bit of research for my presentation on May 29 at the NISOD conference in Austin, I came across this news story http://abc7chicago.com/science/teacher-sets-students-hand-on-fire-in-science-demonstration-/1266650/. It was supposed to be positive and it is dated March 28, 2016.

Just goes to show you - that we have a lot more work to do and we are going to have to do more outreach.

NISOD is the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development which is a membership organization for community colleges. The Conference is designed as a professional development conference for innovations in teaching methods.
