Demystify:

I want to let the list know that the DCHAS-L list will be moving to a new LISTSERV server soon. The new host will be Princeton University. The current host Weill Cornell has been providing this service to the Division since 2011; the original host was Southern Illinois University, who hosted it for 7 years, followed by the University of Vermont, who hosted it for 8 years. The Division wishes to extend our thanks to all of these organizations for their support of the Divisionâ??s communication at no charge.

I expect that this move will take place by September 5, perhaps earlier during the long weekend. I have successfully moved two other DCHAS related e-mail lists seamlessly to the Princeton server and expect that the move will be seamless from the subscribers' point of view. I will provide more details about the new server over next weekend, but if you notice in a change in your subscription over the next couple of weeks, please let me know.

Thanks for your interest in DCHAS-L.
