I understand that ACS has been interviewed by a variety of publications on the CSB budget issue. I haven't tracked down all of the articles, but the list I have seen includes Bloomberg, Forbes and Chemistry World.

For example, in
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-03-17/watchdog-for-industrial-disasters-to-be-purged-in-trump-s-budget

â??Itâ??s a vitally important agency that has an outsize impact for a very small budget,â?? said Glenn Ruskin, communications director for the American Chemical Society, the worldâ??s largest scientific society with about 160,000 members. â??The safety board is an honest broker at identifying problems, and industry appreciates having that.â??
