Demystify:

DCHAS-L members may remember that I asked recently about resources for research and science ethics discussions. I was talking about this with a KSC faculty member this morning and he pointed me to
http://www.onlineethics.org
which is a web site is a resource maintained by the Center for Engineering Ethics and Society (CEES) at the National Academy of Engineering (NAE).

"The Online Ethics Center (OEC) is a repository of resources on the ethics of science, engineering, and research that help engineers, scientists, scholars, educators, students, and interested citizens understand and address ethically significant topics and problems that arise in the practice and results of science and engineering."

There is a wide collection of resources on this topic available here, including 559 case studies / scenarios, including 57 related to safety issues. The Hazardous Substances RCR Role Plays at
http://www.onlineethics.org/Resources/RCRroleplays/21507.aspx
look particularly useful for the undergrad lab audience.

I thought that the list might be interested in this resource.
