This inquiry arose in discussion of a very interesting article entitled "If Chemists Donâ??t Do It, Who Is Going To? Peer-driven Occupational Change and the Emergence of Green Chemistry" in Administrative Science Quarterly 2017, Vol. 62(3)524â??560

It's a sociological study of how Green Chemistry spread within the chemistry community and some of the challenges this idea faced. I suspect that many of the observations made in the article apply to the lab safety work we're doing as well...
