From: Monona Rossol I was contacted off line by a member who was at a production of a View From the Bridge at the Goodman in Chicago in which a pool of stage blood was used. And since the production I was dealing with here in NYC was not this play, and since there is now information available on this production on the net, I decided to 'fess up on where this was and give you a link. This was a production of Parsifal at the Metropolitan Opera. The link below will show a lot of shots of people wading in 1500 gallons of stage blood. One actor is seen kneeling in it, but actually there were some that rolled in it as well. And while in the blood, the SFX people hit them with heavy blasts of low-lying CO2 fog. I think they should all have had hazard pay and free treatment for any athletes foot or other skin diseases contracted while wading in a nutrient-filled solution with a bunch sweaty singers. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/02/arts/music/met-opera-parsifal-blood-wagner.html ---
