Dear Mark, Guidelines for Laboratory Design: Health, Safety, and Environmental Guidelines, 4th edition, 2013, L. DiBerardinis, J. Baum, M. First, G. Gatwood, and A. Seth. Chapter 25, "Imaging and Photographic Facilities" has safety guidelines on planning layouts, HVAC, loss prevention, industrial hygiene, and personal safety, as well as special requirements.
