Do we know what the approximate cuff length of the gloves were? it almost sounds like something splashed under the cuff and was spread around by perspiration. The multi-day delay part is what's confusing me. Most of the sulfuric acid burns I've seen have had pretty fast impacts on the skin.
Dmso is an amazing transdermal carrier. If there was any possible way the acids could be carried by dmso. Or the slurry could cause that to be created.
