There are a number of "is it down" web sites you can try when you run into this kind of problem. For example:
Your favorite search engine should return a bunch more. Search on "website up or down" or "website status".

Does anyone know if the PubChem website is down? I haven't been able to reach the at all this week. Not sure if it's my company's IT blocking it or something else.
