Demystify:

This is a reminder that the ACS Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference will be online next week June 15 - 19, 2020. Specifically, I will be co-hosting a symposium on "Making Your Undergraduate Chemistry Labs Greener and Safer" (see description below) with Dr. Kendra Denlinger of Xavier University.

This session will discuss ways to design and develop curricula that infuse greener chemistry and safer chemistry throughout the chemistry curriculum, especially in the teaching laboratory. Attendees will learn about emerging strategies and tools to help students in their undergraduate courses understand both green chemistry and chemical safety as fundamental parts of their science education.

Registration for the conference is free and it will be very interesting to see what the virtual conference experience is like; if you have a chance to register and visit our symposium, I would be very interested in your feedback about how the experience was for you.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.
