Dear NY ACS Member: I hope you are safe and doing well during this trying time. In case you missed last Thursday's discussion of online teaching (with particular emphasis to lab-based courses), here is a link to the Zoom recording: Password: 1v%v9=8@ As a reminder, we will be holding a second discussion on Thursday, June 11 at 12:00 pm. At this session, we plan to have a presentation from the ACS Committee on Professional Training, discuss assessment of online laboratories, present further examples of laboratory approaches, and have break-out rooms for specific disciplines (general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry/instrumental analysis, physical chemistry and inorganic chemistry). If you are interested in attending this session, please register using Eventbrite, The ticket type that you select in Eventbrite will indicate break-out room in which you will participate. The Zoom link will be emailed to you on Wednesday, June 10th, after noon. Sincerely, Ruben Savizky 2020 New York ACS Chair |
