I don’t think there are any studies that have looked at face shields as a form of source control. If anyone knows of something, please do share. I’m sure that, too, would not contain surprising information,
but it would be helpful to point to when you have individuals who believe face coverings and face shields serve the same purpose.

I don’t know if this article has been shared yet, but it relates face shield efficacy against aerosol size particles. Methodology used influenza virus with cough and respiration simulators. Not earth shattering,
but something you can share with anyone wanting to use face shields in lieu of masks.
