Demystify:

Marta -This is a fantastic resource on lab safety - absolutely critical to get the word out to teachers and their district supervisors.  Safety is unfortunately one area that is sometimes forgotten until there is an accident with either a student and/or teacher getting injured...sometimes very seriously.  I applaud ACS for their ongoing efforts and you as one of the catalysts!

I plan on sharing this on my Twitter**At_Symbol_Here**drroysafersci and also on the NSTA Safety Blog.

Keep the good news coming!

Dear All:

ACS has compiled all resources related to safer experiment and demos at

https://institute.acs.org/lab-safety/education-and-training/safer-experiments.html

My colleagues in the ACS Outreach Programs are also working on a very comprehensive guidance for outreach coordinators. This guidance based on risk management will be published soon and I will make sure to share this information.

Thanks.

Marta

I know we have worked on a set of safety guidelinnes for lab demonstrations, especially those away from our labs - ie at a science museum or for a group. Where can I find these safety guidelines?
