Demystify:

Yes, there are different levels of PM based on the usage and design of the autoclave as well as the water quality. Our newest autoclave requires monthly boiler blow downs that I had added to the PM package due to the high levels of sediment in our water. When we didn't have them, it kept having to be serviced constantly.

Hello all,

I know this isn't really a chemical issue, but it is a safety issue!
I am interested in getting our autoclaves (which are getting older) inspected as part of a PM program.
Does anyone currently do this at their university?

Thank you!

Shannon
