Demystify:
I write to draw your attention to the following co-operatively co-sponsored symposium with the Division of Chemistry and the Law (CHAL):

"Laboratory Safety Issues and the Legal Consequences” is a joint symposium organized by the Chemistry and the Law Division (CHAL) and co-sponsored by CHAS. This symposium examines the duty of care that chemistry laboratory supervisors and operators owe to those working in chemistry laboratories and discusses examples of the legal liability that can incur when laboratory incidents occur.

Abstract submission is currently open at maps.acs.org and closes October 17th, 2022.  To submit an abstract visit maps.acs.org and to learn more about CHAL Sessions, visit CHAL Call for Abstracts:  https://callforabstracts.acs.org/acsspring2023/CHAL
