The Environmental Health and Safety Department at the University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Manager, Environmental Affairs,
Regulated Waste who is responsible for monitoring environmental aspects of University of Nevada, Reno operational activities on all University properties. This position operates at various levels, including: 1) monitoring of activities specifically permitted
by regulatory authorities, reporting to regulators as necessary and addressing violations and corrective actions, 2) performing multimedia surveillance of campus environmental health to determine operational impacts, 3) supervising Regulated Waste handling
and management including dangerous goods shipping, and 4) managing campus inspection activities.
