With the year nearing to the end, I am forwarding a short update from the Committee on Chemical Safety:
- The annual CCS chair comment has been published in November 13 issue
of Chemical and Engineering News at

In these personal comments, Sammye speaks about her personal journey of involvement with the ACS Safety Programs.

This brief article provides with a brief insight regarding the 2022 ACS Safety Summit, which took place in October. The more detailed report will follow.
- CCS embraced has consistently supported the
ACS Foundation on Chemical Safety and Risk Management online course, which continuous to grow. Between March 2021 and November 2022, 4334 people have registered for the course with 1419 completing the course requirements and receiving a Certificate of
Completion. More information about the course can be found at
