Demystify:
Melinda,

I'd suggest contacting the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) at www.safetyequipment.org or telephone at (703) 525-1695 (Arlington, VA).

I am a member of the Eyewash and Shower Product Group who also revise the ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 Standard.  The company I represent only makes and markets what under the standard are called "Personal Wash Units", so they don't have a video for the proper use of plumbed eyewash stations.  Perhaps other member companies would have such a video or might provide training?

There is a Selectiion Guide available from ISEA which might be of interest (this is currently under revision as of our last meeting in November 2022).

Hello, everyone,

I have recently discovered that even to the astute, interested, and uncontamination eye it is not obvious how to activate a recessed eye wash and safety shower. (Ours sort of look like this but without the metal tray under the eye wash spigots, https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0320/3232/5768/products/C2610408_main-1_1024x.jpg?v=1580947173)

So before we make a watery mess producing our own video, I thought perhaps I should check with everyone to see if you all might have a link with this kind of demonstration.

Any hopeful possibility truly appreciated,
Thanks,
