Hello Janine-
Two years ago I took the Class 7 shipping training offered by Sean Austin at Plexus Scentific (it was an online webinar). I found it was well-taught, and my classmates asked questions indicating they were from research institutions that had my type of issues as well as larger ones. It had been recommended by several members of the RSO listserv I belong to (which is only for academic and medical RSOs).
They also provide RSO training; not sure whether Maryland requires hands-on training as part of the RSO qualification and if there's a way to do that remotely, but we've learned to do all sorts of things remotely, so worth an ask. I don't know where this particular division is physically located.

Good luck!
Margaret
Good morning,
I am currently looking for recommendations on training courses that will cover DOT/IATA class 7 transport (radioactive material) and RSO training (radiation safety officer). Our staff needs would be specific to source material / LSA (low
specific activity). We are located in Maryland, however on-demand courses are also acceptable.
Thank you for any help you can provide!
Best,
Janine
