Hi All,
Does anyone have SOPs for handling spent catalysts? If so, could you please share the information with Dr. Suits (cced)
Thank you
Great to see many of you at the ACS meeting!

Subject: SOP's for Massing Raney Nickel and Filtering Spent Pd/C
Does the "Center for Lab Safety" have SOP's for Massing Raney Nickel and Filtering Spent Pd/C. I coordinate the Chemical Technology Program at CCRI and we train chemical
lab technicians to work in the industry. I would like to demonstrate the proper technique for massing out 20 mg of Raney Nickel and filtering off spent Pd/C from a reaction mixture that uses Methanol as the solvent. Any help that you may provide will be
greatly appreciated.
