Hi Hugo,
I was taught in my first job and have followed it since then, that any pipettes or pipette tips should be put into a sharps container (or other hard disposal container) due to the risk of puncturing a waste bag.
My current employer also double bags all biohazard waste bags which also helps prevent breakthrough.

Hi,
We are having a problem with serological pipettes sticking through waste bags. Has anyone had a good solution how to dispose of these?
Many thanks!
Hugo
