We use Chematix chemical inventory management system. EHS conducts annual chemical inventory reconciliations during safety inspections and lab personnel are trained to update inventory whenever(i)
Chemicals are consumed by experiments (ii) Chemicals are managed as waste (iii) Chemicals are transferred to another PI/lab.

HI Shannon,
We are a large university and we have an in-house chemical inventory system that allows us to maintain chemical inventories in real time. Inventories are checked for accuracy by our EH&S inspectors who visit the research and teaching laboratories,
as well as shop workspaces, on an annual basis.

I'm trying to gather data to see how often universities are doing chemical inventory.
If you could please reply and state if you are a small, medium or large university and if/when you do chemical inventory and the frequency.
