Battery powered mobility devices, ranging from skateboards and scooters to cars, boats and planes are ubiquitous on educational campuses, industrial sites, and our cities. Battery fires are increasing in frequency and severity. The New York Fire Department has announced a battery fire prevention and safety educational campaign that can easily be incorporated into your campuses and institutions. It is called C.H.A.M.P.
The link below explains it and provides resources.
Stay safe out there.
