I am truly saddened by the news of the passing of Ralph Stuart. He indeed was a pioneer and passionate safety advocate, he will be sorely missed. I for one I’m grateful for his leadership in the Laboratory Safety and Academia H&S arena, and for his inclusion of my membership in ACS. May God bless his family and loved bed in this sad moment for all of us. Rest in Peace my friend…forever in you debt, Sincerely yours,

Thank you for passing this on.

I am very sad and a bit shocked to hear this news.

I am glad I was able to see him in person at the 2023 Fall ACS meeting.

I always appreciated his positive, thoughtful, and gentle approach to things.  He had great vision and he successfully acted on it.

He will be greatly missed.

Best,

Evan

Wow! So sorry to hear about Ralph. He was a great guy, a good friend, and a champion for CHAS leading the effort for the ListServe - an invaluable tool for all of us. He also had has hand in so many other things over his many years of service.

I was honored to know and work with him.

We will all miss him and his smiling face.
